http://hpccsystems.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=489&p=2206#p2206 indicates the docs are wrong and missing. Some of the options are clearly internal, but

compression

is one that should not be.

Define what has to be documented and correct the mismatch in

maxConnections

.
