Description
Logical Files | Remote Copy currently only supports specifing a remote Dali IP.
Remote Copy should instead present a drop-list (or similar) of [configured] remote targets.
NB: in k8s systems remote environment files should always be accessed via the DFS esp service (in ECL that is acheived via ~remote::<nameofremoteenv>::scope::file).
Dali in general will not be directly accessible.
In newer bare-metal systems, it should also be possible to access logical files via the DFS service as well, as long as they have been appropriately configed in the environment <RemoteStorage> section. See : https://track.hpccsystems.com/browse/HPCC-27688
I suspect all remote systems should be targetted this way, even legacy systems that pre-date the DFS service that can only be accessed via Dali directly.
In those cases, the <RemoteStorage> section should be expanded to allow specification of those legacy Dali spec. remote targets too.
