Probably multiple examples, but here are two where it appears any open tab in certain context will receive focus again for any request pertaining to that item, even if not for that particular data/metadata.
ECLWatch, Activity: Find a running workunit on a Thor and click the active graph link. A new tab containing only the graph will open. Now, return to the Activity list tab and click on that workunit's WU link, and while I was wanting to see WU details, that graph tab receives focus again.
ECLWatch, Widget=WUDetailsWidget: Open a workunit that has produced logical file outputs. Under the WU's Output tab, click on the Results links of one of those that produced a logical file, and you will get a new tab presenting the results/contents. Go back to the Outputs tab and click the filename link of that same output item, and the Results tab receives focus again.
Could/should we not open the requested element in its own tab? I get the need to switch focus rather than opening a new duplicate tab, but these are not duplicate items.
