If a user creates a superkey with subkeys that do not have the same number of file parts (such as incorrectly building a subkey on hthor instead of thor) then a subsequent access to the superkey results in an error like this:
The usage of 'width' here is not obvious to non-developers of the platform, despite the (not often used) keyword being available in the BUILD() function. The user spent quite a bit of time chasing possible record layout differences instead.
This is a request to make this error a bit more user-friendly by directly referencing "file parts" rather than "width."
The error statement is within CIndexReadBase::prepareKey, within thorlcr/activities/indexread/thindexread.cpp.
