This inline superfile syntax should allow any logical file that matches the pattern to be found.
Due to a bug when handling inline superfiles, it fails to deal with the foreign qualifier correctly.
The HPCC THOR version I am using is 6.2.16-1.
I am trying to accessing files from a different HPCC machine using the foreign keyword. I am using the following syntax to read those files.
EXPORT ExpDS := DATASET('~foreign::xx.xxx.xx.x::sb::li::r*::c9_b_li*.txt_w201611??-??????_bd', Dataset_Layout,THOR);
I am able to use the wildcard characters when I accessing the files from the HOST (HPCC server having these files). But I get the following error
System error: 0: Read: Logical file name 'foreign::xx.xxx.xx.x::sb::li::r*::c9_b_li*.txt_w201611??-??????_bd' could not be resolved
when trying to access the files using the foreign keyword and wildcards. Also I am able to access a single filename from a different HPCC server using the foreign keyword but the error raises when using both foreign keyword and wildcards.
Please help me in reading files with wildcards from a different HPCC server.
Thanks and regards,
