On Windows, when we install the client tools we don't (as far as I can gather) update the user's path to make it easy to run them. We might consider one or more of the following improvements:
1. Update the user's path when installing (not sure if this is considered normal practice on Windows)
2. Installing a batch file 'eclvars' analogous to the vcvars batch file that people can run at the start of a command prompt session to ensure everything is properly set up to be able to use the command-line client tools
3. Adding a menu item to eclide to launch a command shell with environment set up for running ecl command line tools
4. Adding a "command window" to eclide to allow people to run ecl command line tools directly within the IDE.
