      Ok – so this is reproducible.

      @RKC – we have embeds calling msql and if the WU terminates the connections are not cleaned up. Is this easy enough for you to look into yourself or do you need us to set something up for you?

      David,

      Since the ecl script already knows the timeframe, it can call the sql to get transactions-per-hour and then calculate time slices accordingly. As I recall, we decided to use the evenly-divided timeslice logic for the proof of concept as it was quicker and simpler to implement.
      When I last asked Richard C., he said that the connections should close/be cleaned up even if a workunit fails. Richard, any ideas what could cause this not to be happening?
