Update of systems scripts

Centos 7 is now out and it contains some deprecation's for commands that are commonly used. Ubuntu is shifting towards these changes as well (with systemd and ip commands.)

For now nothing is broken, but in future updates where deprecated commands are no longer supported, the scripts will fail, or worse, return odd behavior. I am going to go through the scripts and make sure we have a way to pick which command to use.
