From a discussion at the offsite, jakesmith please add anything you remember.
There should be a workunit option which allows LRU tracing to be added to all links in a graph. This would allow the last <n> rows for an active graph to be reported back to the user, and displayed in the graph viewer.
There should also be an ECL command which can be used to add tracing at a particular point in the graph. This would have options to output the first/LAST,ALL and would persist after the graph had completed. Operations would not be moved over the trace point, but implicit fields would still be removed. They would be strongly preferable to including output statements throughout the code. Could also have an optional transform, a name to output to, #option to remove them all etc.
- How do the rows get requested by esp and returned from thor.
- Security implications if rows can be examined from running queries?
- Options to select the slave returning the results.
