XSLT library unavailable

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

      Description

if you run the command to create the xml files for a specific component

      /opt/HPCCSystems/sbin/configgen -env /etc/HPCCSystems/environment.xml -od /var/lib/HPCCSystems -id /opt/HPCCSystems/componentfiles/configxml -c mydfuserver

      you will get the error

      Exception: 5604:
      XSLT library unavailable

This appears to be due to the fact that configgen is not linked against libxslt on these distro's. If you run

      ldd /opt/HPCCSystems/sbin/configgen | grep xslt

on a centos 6 install vs a centos 5 install. You will find that the centos 6 configgen is in fact linked to the libxslt.so. I'm not entirely certain if this is what is causing the individual components to not start up, but it's a possibility. The checks I've done against the init system have them attempting to start the binaries, but the binaries for the components seem to fail and a pidcheck and sentinel file check both fail.
