      Description

When the size of a row is being calculated, and none of the sizes of the fields are known (e.g., because the row is conditional, or selected from a dataset), it may generate much smaller code to use the meta to calculate the row size.

In particular if the row contains large numbers of variable fields. It may be simplest/safest to restrict to root rows (to avoid issues of ifblocks), and to particular contexts - e.g., cloning rows.

Some queries would shrink significantly - the cost of the extra virtual call would easily be outweighed by the reduced code, and improved cache locality.
